Vegan dating uk

He was the only half-decent bloke there to be honest (sorry to be brutal! Anecdotally (again), this is how speed dating events typically go – all the women are pretty hot and there’s just one decent guy that everyone’s after.

So it ended up being a pretty fun 20 x three minute dates for the blokes, and, well, kind of a drag for the ladies. Let us know in the poll below what you think about speed dating.

You’re only slightly more likely to warm to them or, should I say, you’re only slightly more predisposed to like them, because of their dietary choices.

The fact that someone is veggie or vegan is by no means a factor that can replace spark.

Tuesday night’s age bracket was 25-38 so, as a 25-year-old, this meant that the vast majority of blokes were too old for me.

It was an interesting experiment at London veggie / vegan restaurant Tibits, the first event of its kind hosted by the speed dating giant.

They’re planning to host them every two months at the same venue.

Of Tuesday’s bunch of blokes I think less than half were actually vegan.

As Spring is blooming, at tibits we have decided to collaborate with Speed Dater UK and launch a brand new Vegan Speed Dating event 12th April.

One awkward, sheepish bloke made a really shit joke about me ‘liking big ones’ because of my ‘large glass’ of red wine (it was 175ml – that’s a small! Curiously, around 40 per cent were of Indian parentage and born in Kenya.

Many others were fresh European expats looking to mingle.

But the concept is quite open and vague (veggie / vegan – that’s not really the same).

And attending means committing to two hours of smiling and chit-chat to 20 people with whom you may struggle to build rapport.
